NEW - EA-PSI 9000 Series Alarm management: occuring errors, like over temperature, can be signalled differently ( selectively as signal sound, as display element or shutdown of the output). Function manager: up to five sequences (repeatable sections) with ten parameter pairs each (voltage-time or current-time) and extra parameters per sequence, like inner resistance (only with option inner resistance control), maximum output power or number of repitions can be set. The function can be put in, edited and saved at the unit. The order of how the sequences are processed can also be determined. User profiles: up to four profiles, editable by the user at the unit, can be stored and recalled very easily. They contain various settings of the unit, for instance voltage limitation setup, overvoltage threshold etc. 2 slots for pluggable cards: the cards are interfaces to common systems like USB, CAN, GPIB or RS232. By these cards multiple units can be networked, programmed, remotely controlled and monitored. USB can even realise a so-called gateway function. This means, one power supply (master unit) can be linked with a PC by RS232 (serial) and further power supplies are linked from the master and to each other by CAN bus, for instance. The same with USB to CAN gateway functionality. The cards can be equipped as desired and are delivered with ready-to-use LabView components. Master-slave operation: Special feature is the display of the total current resp. total voltage of all linked power supplies on the master's display using the System Link mode. It requires one of the new interface cards for USB or RS232. Without one of these cards only the normal master-slave operation is provided, at which the actual values are displayed on each unit. LabView support: all optional interface cards (except for the analogue interface) are supported by the "ready-to-use" LabView VIs (included in any interface card package), which serve to easily implement multiple power supply units into existing networks, bus systems and LabView applications. Options: Interface cards: pluggable cards for USB, RS232, CAN or GPIB (on request), as well as an analogue, galvanically isolated interface card (on request) with programmable digital in- and outputs. These cards provide supervision, measuring and control features for up to 30 units and can also be used to network multiple units. |
