Powerfactor's range covers chargers for charging NiCd, NiMh, Li-Ion and lead acid batteries. Our lead acid range starts with low power 'plug-in' style switched mode models through to high power ruggedised semi-military units. All models feature a 3 stage charging technique which safely charges in the fastest possible time. Some models are available to medical specification and also in IP67 waterproof versions. Our fast NiCd and NiMh chargers employ the -deltaV charging principle. This reduces the fast charge output to trickle when the battery is fully charged and has proved itself to be a very reliable cut-off method. All models are AC mains input except model 9243 which accepts a 10-30VDC input. Our Li-Ion chargers charge between 3 to 8 cells with maximum charge currents of 4A to 1.7A respectively, these chargers meet the more stringent requirements demanded by these batteries to ensure fast, safe and complete charging. Model 2240Li has been selected by Varta-Microbattery for charging their new Polyflex Lion batteries Just introduced, we have the 'Oracle' AC-DC switch-mode power supply that operates in conjunction with a single back-up battery to provide a robust and reliable source of power for mission- critical industrial applications Available in both 12V and 24V
versions, the Oracle features link-selectable input voltage
ranges of 90-132V or 180- 264V and is equipped with one main
output, one temperature-compensated battery charger output and
two auxiliary outputs. |
